As I stood and took in the scenery covered by the dense fog, I suddenly noticed how loud my thoughts became as the stillness and hushed woods surrounded me. Even the sound of the shutter on my camera seemed to pierce through the silence. Had I found a spot to nestle in, the hours could have easily slipped by....leaving me with just my thoughts to keep me company.
